Spring Break!

My sister Misty invited me to sleep over at her house on Wednesday night, and of course we made a girls day out of it! I loved getting to spend more time than usual with Misty, since she lives in Gilbert and its rare to be at her house. Mom, Amber, and the little girls came too. Unfortunately Jodi couldn't make it. HAHA, look at Brigham... (we tried to get Anna to crop him out..but she's a kindergartner..its expected.)

We got to go to lunch together, which was chaotic of course, but always a blast! And i stayed in Gilbert to spend the night at Mistys, just us-and her husband of course. Later that night, because i'm the best aunt EVER, i decided to take Brigham to the park and earn some cool points. The little guy ran and ran to the park, it was adorable!

And once we got there, i was terrified he would fall on everything, so i would stand behind him like a paranoid aunt to make sure he was safe, which he hated and would respond "I DO IT!"

It was a great day at the park :).

I also cut mistys hair into an A-Line. So here it is!

Last but not least, I took pictures of Misty and Brigham before the baby comes! It took a few shots...

Winter Break

It has been so nice to finally get a break from school! I'll update on some of the recent things going on...

A couple of weeks ago me and my two friends headed to westgate to shop and have dinner, and to our surprise we ended up on mtv! Yes, i said mtv! We were pretty excited thinking we would be all famous, until the man with the camera had us read what we were supposed to say and it ended in mtv TRES. We soon figured out that it was the spanish mtv channel, talk about dissappointment! But hey, tv is tv right? Later that night we went to savers to find plaid... a bit random, yes.


This break has also been filled with a couple shows (acoustic-the summer set, and the maine.), dates with levi, a sleep over with one of my friends Gillian, and a new years eve party with levi, and good family time. Back to the sleepover, because we're just crazy Gillian and i randomly decided around midnight that we were going to cut her hair short. After we cut her hair and styled it (it look super cute too!), i had the urge to get my hair cut too. So basically we stayed up until three in the morning cutting and styling eachother's hair. My parents are concerned we're going to be bald by the time we finish beauty school.. (haha, we better not be.).

Also i haven't updated with pictures of the weave (highlights) i did on Whitney last month! It was my first time on a real person, and it went pretty dang well. She got plenty of compliments and i was proud of myself, haha! Sadly the pictures don't do it justice, but oh well. (her hair was a dark dirty blonde before, like the underneath color that you can see on the bottom picture). Heres a couple more hair cut by autumn pictures from a couple months ago, the top picture i colored her hair too.

And last but not least, i went to the train park with my neices and nephews this week, so here's a random picture of me and pops! What a stud!

Thanksgiving Weekend

This weekend ive been at my family's cabin for Thanksgiving with my parents, Dennis and the McBrides. Luckily we found some snow to play in, and although Lincoln wasn't too sure about it, the girls had lots of fun! We never pass up the chance to take pictures in the snow!

First Blog

So Amber finally convinced me to join the trend and figure this site out (what a lovely sister). Hopefully this will take place of my journal...or my lack of one, and i will be able to update everyone. This year has definitely been different than my usual highschool years, which is a good thing! I'm in beauty school, The Cutting Edge Style Academy in peoria, which i absolutely love! Its full of other girls from different highschools, some of my closest friends are ones ive met there (The picture is Gillian and i... we put "subtle" red hair color in my bangs, but it wasn't so subtle according to my family...ha!). This also means i'm only at highschool for two class periods, and of course seminary. Although my days are longer, i love being there and learning the things that i'm interested in.

Here are some pictures from halloween with Levi... we had decided to do some of what we did last year when we first started talking and pass out candy, we also met up with some friends later that night. Although it wasn't the same as last year, we definitely had a good time!
